Supreme Court Poised to Further Destroy US Elections
Two separate case coming before the US Supreme Court this week give the court the opportunity to issue ruling to further erode free elections in this country.
In Texas, the Republican-led state govenment "is defending its right to redraw its electoral districts to give its GOP majority more seats in Congress. If its extraordinary mid-decade shift wins in the high court, other states have signaled they will do the same," according to a report in the Los Angeles Times.
Vermont's strict limits on campaign funding is under attack as limiting free speech. An arugument Republicans use only when its to their advantage. The only free speech the GOP supports is that for which they have paid.
Look for the new Bush League Court to support the Repubs in both cases, further trampling on the rights of the voter.
