Hall of Infamy

After receiving a ticket in Los Angeles for failing to cross the street fast enough, an 82-year-old California woman has become a celebrity of sorts.

But what about the officer who issued the citation? His name is not even mentioned. He's like the pitcher who gives up the game-winning home run; no one ever remembers his name, outside of his co-workers and family.

We think there should be a Hall of Infamy for all of those who, through action or inaction, cause someone else to have their fifteen minutes of fame.
