Rummy gets history wrong again

Headline from The New York Times: Rumsfeld Says War Critics Haven’t Learned Lessons of History

Comparing terrorist groups to a “new type of fascism,” Mr. Rumsfeld said, “With the growing lethality and the increasing availability of weapons, can we truly afford to believe that somehow, some way, vicious extremists can be appeased?”

Excuse, us, Mr. Secretary, but we don't remember anyone against your illegal war in Iraq saying anything about appeasing the terrorists.

What we're really interested in is a real fight against terrorism, not you made-up version.
