This is Bush's America

As reported in the Rocky Mountain News:
Two people who say they were ejected from a speech by President Bush over a bumper sticker won a victory Wednesday in their court battle to learn if a White House official ordered the heave-ho.

But they could still lose the war.

A federal magistrate made it clear in court Wednesday that the two local men being sued must give up the names of their supervisors when they give depositions this month.

But the men's attorneys may file an appeal that could delay the depositions until after the statute of limitations expires, killing the case.
Instead of getting to the bottom of what really happened, and who ordered whom to do what, lawyers will play the system to the bitter end.
